Alienated Body

Projections onto the human body & collection of close-fitting garments.

Images, superimposed onto the naked human body, visually alter and manipulate its shape and surface. The body becomes 'dressed' in virtual clothes and only movements reveal the illusion. This fusion of skin and projection influences both the body and the image. The shape of the body is either dissolved or enhanced, the image distorted and disrupted.

Based on this idea the developed garments merge with the body, become a second skin. Sheer, printed textiles are used to allow layering and mixing of multiple patterns.
